Happy Children

Origin Research Trust was founded to strengthen for-purpose organisations by offering strategies and tools to evaluate and enhance operational capacity and improve the positive impacts being made.

Happy Childhood

Founders, Lucy Taua'i (BA, English/BBS Marketing (hons) and Natalie Richards (BMS, Marketing and Psychology(hons)/ Dip Fin) share the same passion - to make a positive difference and recognise the amazing work being done in the for-purpose sector to help communities in need.

With a combined 25 years of commercial research experience, starting Origin Research Trust is their way of helping communities, using the skills and experience they have gained. After talking with people working in the not-for-profit sector, they recognised a need for quality and accessible research and evaluation services.

A key principle of Origin Research Trust is to ensure that both individuals and the organisation are continually learning, growing, and developing; Natalie and Lucy keep up to date with latest research and evaluation advancements by being members of both AES and ANZEA, attending frequent workshops and seminars, and have enrolled in He Papa Tikanga, NZ Certificate in Tikanga, through Te Wānanga o Aotearoa.

Lucy and Natalie are committed to achieving a sustainable and embedded culture of evaluative thinking amongst for-purpose organisations, believing this will strengthen and empower organisations to achieve greater impact in their communities.

Based in Waikato, New Zealand, Origin Research Trust offer local for-purpose organisations a customised research and evaluation service to suit the needs of your organisation.
